SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane County has received $4.5 million in federal funding for the Interstate 90 Four Lake Interchange project.
According to Commissioner Al French, the funding boost will connect Craig Road directly with I-90.
“Craig Road is an important north/south Urban Major Collector connecting to Fairchild Air Force Base, Airway Heights, US-2, and SR-902. The interchange revision…will additionally facilitate alternate routes to Spokane International Airport and neighboring cities like Medical Lake and the City of Spokane,” a statement circulated to media outlets by French’s office said.
The funding is a part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2024, a major national infrastructure bill passed earlier this year.
