KELLER, Wash. — The Keller Ferry will offer limited northbound service for residents as evacuation notices due to the Swawilla Fire have been downgraded to Level 2.

According to the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT), the ferry has resumed limited northbound service for residents living between the Keller Ferry’s north landing and Manilla Creek Road. The Swawilla Fire evacuation notices have been lowered from Level 3 to Level 2 (Be Set).

WSDOT also noted that due to restricted north and south operations of the Keller Ferry, State Route 21 remains closed between Manilla Creek Road near milepost 112 and milepost 124. The Level 2 evacuation area extends from the north landing of the Keller Ferry at approximately milepost 107 to milepost 112 at Manilla Creek Road.

Travelers on State Route 21 between Wilbur and Republic in Ferry County should use alternate routes. Residents are advised to monitor for changing conditions.
