KELLER, Wash. – It was a good Sunday morning for the Colville Tribes Environmental Trust Program, which announced that the Bridge Creek Fire has been completely contained while the nearby Swawilla Fire has hit 85% containment.
The Northern Rockies Complex Incident Management Team that was assigned to the Swawilla Fire as it swelled to over 50,000 acres will begin transitioning off of the fire as the Southern Area Blue Team takes over.
Level 2 (be set) evacuations are still in place for the town of Keller, but roads in those areas are open
Firefighters will continue to mop up fires around Keller homes Sunday.
