SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Spokane Valley deputies arrested a man with two outstanding warrants and for carrying meth.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, on August 4 at around 1 p.m., deputies responded to reports of a person disturbing residents at an apartment complex on the 11900 block of East Mansfield Avenue. The man initially left the complex but returned and continued to bother residents.

Deputies obtained a description of the man and later identified him as 43-year-old Larry D. Cash. A check of his name revealed two valid misdemeanor warrants: one for first degree criminal trespass and one for possession of a controlled substance ($500 bond).

Cash was arrested, and during a subsequent search, deputies found a clear plastic baggie containing a white crystalline substance believed to be meth. A field test indicated a presumptive positive result for meth.

Cash was booked into the Spokane County Jail on the warrants, and the new charge was for possession of a controlled substance. Due to jail overcrowding and a court-approved agreement, Cash was released on his own recognizance shortly after his booking.
