STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. – The Wicked Drive wildfire burned 20 acres in Stevens County between Corkscrew Canton Road and Highway 291 Sunday afternoon.
According to Stevens County Fire District 1, the fire was difficult for fire crews to access due to rough terrain. As of 1:15 p.m., the fire continued to burn as firefighters made progress in addressing the flames.
Updated Aug. 18 at 1:45 p.m. – The fire was held at 25 acres with aircraft helping fire crews engage the fire at around 1:30 p.m.
