SPOKANE, Wash. – The Indian Trail Library has been working for over a year to open a new garden that will welcome birds, nature and people.
The new garden will open Sept. 21 and will features spaces to include birds, bees, butterflies and a safe space for all other winged friends.
The garden will host a variety of plants that are great pollinators in the region.
There will be a public event to celebrate the opening on Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. that will have live music, a tree planting demo and a family treasure hunt.
