Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife seeks input on new solar and wind power guidelines

OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) is updating its guidelines for solar and wind power and seeks public input.

WDFW said the revised guidelines aim to ensure responsible siting of industrial renewable energy facilities to minimize impacts on wildlife and habitats. WDFW invites feedback on renewable energy development and its potential effects on wildlife, plants and habitats.
