SPOKANE, Wash. – Rind and Wheat Bakery in Spokane will be closing its doors for good on Aug. 30.
The bakery in Downtown Spokane whipped up fresh goods every morning like their well-known sourdough bread and delicious pastries.
Not only will they close down their shop but will cease to exist as a company by closing down their wholesale department as well.
The manager of the downtown bakery said they are now looking to the community for support as they begin to say goodbye.
“We are shattered. We hope the community will come by and support us and we will have as much as we can available so lots of cheese and wine.”
The bakery also took to Instagram thanking the community and explaining the decision to close.
“This decision was not made lightly, as we have deeply enjoyed serving our community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support and love for our bread, pastries and cheeses. Despite many challenges our staff has remained dedicated to serving you.”
Rind and Wheat will be having a 10% sale as they begin to close on the 27th through the 30th.
