SPOKANE, Wash. – Interstate 90 will experience minor delays Sunday morning due to crews repainting road stripes between Spokane and the Spokane Valley.
According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, the stripe painting will start around 5 a.m. moving in both ways.
“Crews will start at the top of the Sunset Hill and work in the right lane of eastbound I-90 until they reach Argonne Road in Spokane Valley. They will then turnaround and work in the westbound right lane from Argonne Road to the top of the Sunset Hill,” the department said.
The same process will then be repeated using the left lane. This process isn’t expected to ever halt traffic, through on-ramps could be temporary impeded by the work of the stripe machine. Work will wrap-up allowing traffic to return to normal by 12 p.m..
