SPOKANE, Wash. – A person was killed in a hit and run crash in downtown Spokane Friday morning.
According to the Spokane Police Department, the crash took place near West 3rd Avenue and South Wall Street. Police say that a vehicle hit a person in that area and then left the scene.
Emergency responders attempted to save the person hit by the vehicle but they ultimately died at the scene. Traffic in that area may be slowed throughout Friday as police investigate the deadly hit and run.
