SPOKANE, Wash. – The Washington State Veterans Cemetery will be holding a Forgotten Heroes interment ceremony to honor unclaimed veterans.
Unclaimed veterans remains will travel to Medical Lake where they will be laid to rest with full military honors in the community service.
The event will take place on Sept. 19 at 1 p.m. and it is open to the public. Those interested in attending can contact the cemetery for more information.
