AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – A woman has died after being struck by a car on Highway 2 near Airway Heights.
According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the woman, identified as Crystal Shults, 38, was walking eastbound on Highway 2 at milepost 275.8 in the travel lane. She suddenly turned north, crossed the westbound lanes, and was hit by a car in the right lane of westbound Highway 2. The driver and passenger of the car was not injured.
