SPOKANE, Wash. – A car crashed into the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery building on Friday night.
According to the organization, the car crashed into the building and then left the area, leaving significant damage to the side of the building on East Sprague Avenue.
“While there is extensive damage to the exterior of our building, no staff or children were injured or impacted. We will continue business as usual as we work to have our beautiful home repaired,” Executive Director Amy Knapton Vega said.
As of Saturday morning, it is unclear whether the driver or anyone in the vicinity of the crash was hurt.
