SPIRIT LAKE, Idaho – Wildfire danger in Spirit Lake has been downgraded to a moderate level.
The Spirit Lake Fire Protection District issued a statement noting this is the lowest fire danger rating since July. Despite the improvement, residents are reminded that the threat of wildfire is still present.
A burn permit is required through October 20 as long as wildfire danger remains moderate.
