New wildfire defense facility opens in Post Falls, boosting operations across the region

POST FALLS, Idaho – Wildfire Defense Systems, Inc. has opened a new 61,000-square-foot facility in Post Falls to expand its abilities to respond to wildfires across the state.

The new facility on South Lochsa Street will serve as a hub for wildfire response coordination. It will house up to 36 personnel and 20 wildfire engines, support vehicles, and marine units.

This site will also focus on the production of wildfire response equipment. Additionally, it will serve as a research and development center for innovative wildfire protection technology.

The facility will be the main site for WD Fire Supply, which provides fire protection products and supplies to fire agencies, communities, and homeowners.

Wildfire Defense Systems’ expansion aims to enhance its ability to support wildfire agencies and protect communities across the U.S. and Canada.
