SPRINGDALE, Wash. – Nestled in the scenic mountains of Springdale, a unique outdoor market is set to draw hundreds of visitors this weekend. What began as a family dream has become an event that brings together the community.
Jessica Garza, the owner of Moose Valley Ranch started an open-air western market on her family’s farm back in 2022 named ‘Market in the Mountains’.
What started as dream for Garza has grown into a two-day event showcasing small businesses and even giving back to a worthy cause.
“Our market last year brought in over $160K in gross revenue for the participating makers and small businesses in just one day across 1,500 guests,” Garza said.
‘The Market in the Mountains’ will be hosted on that same family soil again this year featuring food, fashion and so much more.
Garza explained her passion for the event and what people can expect from the 2-day market.
“This event is perfect to grab your family or girlfriends and spend the weekend camping, shopping, and dancing your heart out.” Garza explained. “We’re going on our third year, and we’ve already heard that this is quickly becoming a tradition for families and groups of friends.”
In addition to supporting small businesses, the market will be donating 100% of the bar proceeds to Lucky Break Rescue, a non-profit dedicated to rehoming and rehabilitating at-risk horses.
Tickets to attend the market and more information can be found at their website here.
