COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The U.S. Forest Service has announced the closure of Forest Service Road 1575 due to logging operations and construction.
According to the Idaho Panhandle National Forest, which is located southeast of Beauty Bay on Coeur d’Alene Lake, the road will be closed from Sept. 23 to Nov. 2. The closure is being implemented to ensure public health and safety during major road construction activities in preparation for upcoming logging operations.
The press release states that the closure will prohibit all forms of travel on the road, including pedestrian access, due to the potential hazards posed by heavy truck and equipment traffic.
