Spokane police seek witnesses in deadly motorcycle crash

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department (SPD) is seeking information regarding a deadly motorcycle crash.

According to an SPD spokesperson, the crash occurred on September 18 at around 6:15 p.m. Police responded to reports of an accident involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival, they found a motorcycle on the roadway with the driver down nearby.

Police reported that the motorcycle was traveling south on Division from Bridgeport when it crashed with another car. Medics quickly arrived to treat the injured driver, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Authorities believe that speed was a factor in the crash. Investigators with the SPD Major Crimes Unit are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233 and reference case number 2024-20193222.
