DARTFORD, Wash. — Spokane County Fire Districts 4 and 9 are responding to a brush fire near Dartford.
According to a spokesperson from Spokane County Fire District 4, the fire was ignited when a tree fell on a power line. Firefighters report that Avista has arrived to shut off the power.
Northwest Wandermere Road and East Little Spokane Connection Road are currently blocked, and it is unclear when they will reopen.
