Scarywood opens tonight with a brand-new haunt

ATHOL, Idaho – Tonight, Scarywood Haunted Nights return for the 15th year with a brand new haunt to scare the public.

The new haunt is called “The Swine”, and you should only go see it if you are okay with giant pigs chasing you around with chainsaws. You may notice connections to the popular fable known as “The Three Little Pigs”.

But that’s just one of five different haunts that will be at Scarywood this year. All four haunts from last year are returning (Blood Bayou, Chuckle’s 3D Sideshow, Pharaoh’s Curse, & Planet Zombie: Light Out).

There are also 10 different “scarezones” throughout the park with various themes to scare everyone who passes through.

You can buy caramel apples, other sweet treats, hot coco in a collectible cup that gets you free refills throughout the night, or you could add some alcohol to your cocoa for $5. New this year is glowing cotton candy and an alcoholic drink in a blood bag.

Tickets for tonight start at $62 per person, but you might be able to find cheaper deals depending on the day you choose to go. If you want tickets, click here: Silverwood Tickets Online (silverwoodthemepark.com)
