Update on Sept. 27 at 9 p.m. – The person struck by a truck on Friday night has died from their injuries.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the victim passed away at Sacred Heart Medical Center.
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A person was struck by a pickup truck at the intersection of East Valley Way and North Pines in Spokane Valley.
According to a spokesperson from the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the injured individual was transported to the hospital, though the extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
WSP said that southbound lanes of Pines are closed at this time.
