MOSES LAKE, Wash. — A Moses Lake School District bus driver shortage will temporarily cancel bus routes.
The Moses Lake School District announced on Sept. 27 that the lack of bus drivers will now impact morning and afternoon bus routes.
According to the Moses Lake School District, transportation with the school district will assess the situation every morning and notify parents before 5:30 a.m. if their child’s bus route has been canceled for the day.
This shortage will not affect students who ride the special education buses. Cancellations will also be posted on the district website at MLSD161.org.
