Spokane, Wash. — The Downtown Spokane Partnership (DSP) will host the second “Back to Downtown Block Party” on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
According to a press release from DSP, the event invites downtown employees to enjoy local food, connect with peers and experience the vibrant energy of the area.
The block party will feature a variety of activities, including live music by Daniel Hall, games, and prizes. Lunch will be available for purchase through The Wave’s “Virtual Food Truck,” and attendees are encouraged to explore nearby restaurants such as Brews Brothers and People’s Waffle.
In addition to food and entertainment, the event will showcase resources from Anam Cara Healing Center and Spokane Transit Authority. A special appearance will be made by local celebrity dog, Murphy Brown the Fox Dog.
The event is free to attend, providing an opportunity for networking and community engagement in downtown Spokane. The event starts at 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and will take place at Washington Trust Bank Tower East, 601 West First Avenue.
