COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – Avista is sending a team from Idaho to assist with Hurricane Milton recovery efforts in Florida.
The 12-vehicle, 19-person crew left the Avista Couer D’Alene office around 7 a.m. on Wednesday. The drive to Lake City is expected to take around 4-5 days depending on conditions.
The 15-member line crew will join several other utility companies from across the nation as they all support hurricane restoration efforts.
A return date for the crew has not yet been given. Watch them take off from Idaho here.
