COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department treated a special patient Saturday. Frank the Giant Teddy Bear joined the department for some pictures after a bike crash.

According to the fire department, the cuddly bear was wearing protective gear when he crashed.

“Doctors say Frank is expected to make a full recovery and should be back on his bicycle in a week or two. Thankfully Frank was wearing a quality bicycle helmet. Stay safe out there everyone,” the department said.

Frank also joined firefighters for some demonstrations of a fire engine ladder. He isn’t the only stuffed animal to seek assistance from emergency responders this week,
