HAYDEN, Idaho — 13 firefighters with the Northern Lakes Fire District could lose their job if a levy is not passed.
If approved, the levy would cost taxpayers $94 per $100,000 in taxable assessed home value and would run through Sept. 2027. Northern Lakes Fire District said if the levy is not passed, they would have to close the airport fire station and lay off 13 firefighters.
