WENATCHEE, Wash. — Updated at 3:50 p.m.- Level 3 “Go Now!” evacuations have been ordered for those living on Squilchuck Road.
People living in the area of the west end of Connery Road to the north end of Jim Smith need to leave their homes immediately. The evacuation orders follow the current conditions of an ongoing wildfire.
There is no estimated time on when evacuation levels will go down.
-Originally written Oct. 13, 2024, at 3:08 p.m.- Level 2 Evacuations have been issued for those living on Squilchuck Road in Wenatchee Sunday afternoon.
According to Chelan County Emergency Management, those living on the 32000 block of Squilchuck Road are now under Level 2 evacuation orders. This means to “Get Ready,” and prepare to leave in case conditions get worse. The evacuations were announced on Chelan County Emergency Management’s Facebook page and there is no estimated time on how long the evacuation order will last.
