SEATTLE – A Seattle police officer saved a man from an oncoming train.
Police released bodycam footage of the incident, which occurred while officers responded to a mental health crisis. While engaging with the man, he fell approximately 25 feet onto the tracks below.
Officials reported that the man was seriously hurt and unable to move. The quick actions of the officer prevented a potential tragedy. The officer risked his own safety to pull the man to safety from the approaching train.
