GRANT COUNTY, Wash. – A 63-year-old man was sentenced on Tuesday for a 2021 child rape.
According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the man who was sentenced, Dale Lewis, was found guilty in August of second-degree rape. Deputies said that Lewis was sentenced to 95 months to life in prison.
Deputies said the victim’s father notified them in February 2021 after the victim told him that Lewis had sexually assaulted her. The victim was 13 years old when the crime happened.
