SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane County deputies and firefighters are on the scene of a major car accident on North Fairview Road, outside Mead.
According to a spokesperson for Spokane County Fire District 9, both Spokane County deputies and firefighters are responding to the incident at North Fairview Road and East Piper Road. There have been injuries reported, but the extent is unknown at this time. Firefighters are asking drivers to avoid the area as investigators are on the scene, and they anticipate that the road will be closed for some time.
