Two arrested in Coeur d’Alene for meth, stolen game camera and multiple firearms

COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — Two people were arrested after a search warrant was executed at a Coeur d’Alene home, where deputies found a stolen game camera, 2.5 pounds of meth and 14 guns.

According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and SWAT members arrived at the scene around 9 p.m. on Monday in the area of North 15th Street.

The search was initiated after a game camera was reported stolen on Oct. 15, according to deputies. The camera continued to transmit photos and GPS locations, leading deputies to the suspects’ home.

Deputies safely detained the suspects, identified as Daniel Grove, 54, and Christeena Ferguson, 45. Investigators recovered 14 firearms, around 2.5 pounds of meth and the stolen game camera. Grove and Ferguson face multiple charges, including unlawful possession of firearms, trafficking in meth and habitual offender status.

They are currently held at the Kootenai County Public Safety Building without bail.
