Giving Back Spokane hosts 70s-themed fundraising event at Riverfront Park

SPOKANE, Wash. – Giving Back Spokane will host an event to support its mission of providing food, clothing, transportation, and housing assistance to those in need in the community.

According to the organization, the event will take place at the Riverfront Park Pavilion on Friday at 6 p.m. It aims to celebrate and raise funds for Giving Back Spokane’s mission.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in 1970s-themed clothing in honor of the 50th anniversary of Expo ’74. The event will feature games and music from the 1970s, with Dave Cotton and Rick Clark serving as emcees. Highlights include a live and silent auction, a Golden Ticket raffle, food provided by Red Rock Catering, and a no-host bar. The “Light Attracts Light” Award will also be presented to “special guests.”
