ATHOL, Idaho – Idaho State Police are currently investigating a crash that left three people seriously injured near Silverwood Theme Park.
The incident took place at roughly 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday while traveling on U.S. 95.
According to Idaho State Police, a 78-year-old woman crossed the center median and collided head-on with another car, resulting in injuries to a mother and her 13-year-old daughter.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital by ambulance following the accident. The 13-year-old daughter was taken by life flight.
The crash blocked the highway for nearly three hours. The conditions of those involved remain unknown at this time.
