CLARKSTON, Wash. — A fire in Clarkston destroyed manufactured homes and caused several injuries.
According to the Asotin County Fire District 1, firefighters responded to the fire at a manufactured home on Thursday around 2:40 p.m. in the 1600 block of 13th Street. Upon arrival, crews found a fully engulfed structure, with flames and smoke threatening a neighboring home.
Firefighters reported that two residents were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the incident. The fire ultimately destroyed two manufactured homes and a pickup truck. Firefighters from Lewiston, Clarkston, and Asotin joined efforts to combat the blaze, which was contained in approximately two hours.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and no further injuries have been reported.
