SPOKANE, Wash. – 6,000 fourth and fifth graders from schools across the Inland Northwest recently had the opportunity to experience the symphony at Fox Theater.
Students filled the theater and attended the concert named ‘symphony day’ designed to introduce them to the world of symphonic music.
The concert featured individual introductions of each instrument and explained the unique sounds they produce.
It also educated students about the roles of a conductor, concertmaster, and musician.
Over 82 schools were present at the show including:
