KETTLE FALLS, Wash. – A small fire in the shop of Kettle Falls High School caused school to be canceled Friday.
According to the district, the fire was isolated and quickly put out without any injuries.
“As a precaution, there will be no school for high school students…Friday…to allow for cleanup and safety checks,” the district said via social media.
Athletics will still take place Friday despite school being canceled.
