SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A driver was rescued by Spokane Valley firefighters after his car became pinned beneath a semi-truck on eastbound I-90.
According to the Spokane Valley Fire Department, fire crews responded to the crash at approximately 4 p.m. on Friday near the Baker exit. Firefighters reported that the driver was trapped under the semi, prompting the call to be upgraded to a heavy rescue.
The driver was safely extricated and transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
