LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. — The Liberty Lake Police Department is investigating several incidents believed to be politically and racially motivated that occurred in the community on Monday.
According to a press release from Liberty Lake police, these incidents reportedly involve the same individual or individuals and may include the theft or removal of campaign signs, as well as the use of racial slurs.
“We are proud of our community members getting involved during election season and want to emphasize that political and/or racial hate activity will not be tolerated,” the department said.
