SPOKANE, Wash. – A WWI weapon was dropped off at the Spokane Valley Heritage Museum prompting a response from the bomb squad on Wednesday.
According to the director at the museum someone donated three shells dating back to WWI with one in still in an active status.
Sergeant Mark Fox with the bomb squad said that the active shell had to be taken in and they are investigating the status of the other shells.
