PULLMAN, Wash. – The Pullman Police Department has a new K-9 officer unlike any other.
This new addition is a Unitree Go-Two robot dog named Mike. He is equipped to assist officers during SWAT situations by entering homes or delivering supplies and equipment.
Mike can carry up to 25 pounds, which could include phones, medical supplies, or other necessary items to locations that may not be safe for officers.
The robot dog comes equipped with 4K video capabilities and mapping technology.
The department aims to use Mike to de-escalate situations and expedite assistance to officers.
