SPOKANE, Wash. – A man is facing charges in three separate cases of assault and appeared in court recently. Each incident occurred over the past three months.
According to court documents, on Aug. 31 at around 11:45 p.m., Asadi Rahma, 40, allegedly assaulted a woman at knifepoint. According to court documents, he invited the woman to smoke with him in his car, then strangled and assaulted her while holding a knife. The victim managed to escape but sustained injuries, including cuts and bruises and a deep cut on her thumb from pushing away the knife.
“He did not know the alleged victim, but he chose to be incredibly threatening to the victim’s safety after she denied sexual contact and after he offered her meth,” a Spokane County deputy prosecutor said.
Corust docs said that Rahma is also accused of exposing himself to North Central High School students twice in September. Additionally, he is charged with threatening a store clerk with a knife in Spokane’s Brown’s Addition that same month.
Rahma is currently facing a bond of $157,000. His arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 13.
