SPOKANE, Wash. — A person was stabbed near River Park Square and transported to the hospital but will be sent to jail due to an unrelated arrest warrant, police said. Police are still searching for a suspect.
According to a spokesperson from the Spokane Police Department (SPD), the man was reportedly stabbed in the area of West Main Avenue near River Park Square at around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The victim, who has an unrelated arrest warrant, will be transported to jail after his release from the hospital. SPD have stated that there is no danger to the public.
