MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Democratic U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar has won a fourth term, defeating anti-establishment Republican and former NBA player Royce White in Minnesota’s top election matchup. Klobuchar entered the campaign with a history of big wins and a huge financial advantage. She gave a victory speech Tuesday night saying she will stand her ground while always seeking common ground. White is an ally of Donald Trump strategist Steve Bannon and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones who once said “women have become too mouthy.” While White was a strong supporter of the Republican presidential nominee, Trump never endorsed him, and top office-holders kept their distance.
