SMELTERVILLE, Idaho — Two people were arrested after being caught trafficking pounds of methamphetamine in Shoshone County.
According to the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy pulled over a car with two people inside. The deputy found probable cause to search the car and found almost five pounds of methamphetamine. Both people were arrested for trafficking methamphetamine.
According to the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office, the Kellogg Police Department assisted with the stop. Law enforcement is now investigating this crime.
