SPOKANE, Wash. — Avista is inviting customers to participate in two virtual public meetings on Wednesday to provide feedback on the utility’s 2025 Electric Integrated Resource Plan (IRP).
The IRP outlines Avista’s strategy for meeting the region’s electricity needs over the next 20 years, considering factors such as reliability, cost and environmental sustainability. Public input is a key component of the planning process, and the feedback gathered will help shape the final plan, which will be submitted to utility commissions in Washington, Idaho, and Oregon.
The meetings will begin with a presentation on the proposed IRP, followed by a Q&A session. Participants will also have the opportunity to select from various topic areas to learn more and offer direct feedback.
The two virtual meetings will be held at the following times:
– 12 p.m.
