CHATTAROY, Wash. – Firefighters are responding to a fire in a manufactured home in Chattaroy that killed one dog on Wednesday.
The Spokane County Fire District 4 responded to the 4000 block of East Denison Chattaroy Road after someone drove by and reported smoke coming from the roof.
Firefighters responded around 8 a.m. to find the home in flames. Initial reports from crews say that no one was home at the time.
There were no reported injuries and an investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
