KAMIAH, Idaho – A sheriff’s deputy in Idaho County was injured after an encounter with a speeding driver on Highway 12.
Authorities reported that 54-year-old Daniel Frost was driving at high speed on Highway 12 around 6:00 p.m. when the incident occurred.
The speeding car nearly collided with a third Idaho County deputy’s car parked on the highway.
Deputies said Frost called 911, stating he would pull over into a public parking lot. After about 30 minutes, both Frost and a passenger, 54-year-old Candida Desouza, were arrested.
Inside the car, police found minor amounts of marijuana. Both individuals face a long list of charges following the incident.
