LEWISTON, Idaho – A 23-year-old man was involved in a foot chase with law enforcement on Thursday afternoon after being seen in a stolen car.
At around 1:30 p.m., an officer attempted to pull over the driver, identified as Johnathan Ryan. Ryan tried to flee, running on foot near the top of Gun Club Road.
Several officers responded to the scene and searched for Ryan. A person later reported seeing him walking in the area of Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories.
Ryan attempted to run again but was eventually taken into custody.
