OLYMPIA, Wash. – A statewide Washington online courts system outage ended Monday, allowing municipal, county and superior courts to work more efficiently.
The outage due to a cyber security breach, and around the state.
Washington State Patrol’s firearm background checks system with county and superior court systems restoring their digital infrastructures throughout Monday.
“We can confirm that there was no detected breach of data and the event did not result in ransomware, due to quick action taken to isolate and secure the network,” a Washington Courts press release said.
Forensic analysis of the data breach which slowed the judicial process in Washington for two weeks is ongoing.
