GRANGEVILLE, Idaho – Snowhaven Ski and Tubing Area, one of Idaho’s oldest ski areas, may not open this winter due to a lack of a manager.
Located in the north-central part of the state, Snowhaven has been a popular destination since its opening in 1946. The area offers a 400-foot vertical drop and 60 acres for skiing.
Currently, the ski area is in need of a manager. If a manager is not found by December 1, Snowhaven will remain closed for the entire year.
However, if a manager is hired, the ski and tubing area plans to open on December 21.
